Buckwheat
Did you know that Buckwheat is not a wheat at all? In fact it is gluten free! Buckwheat has a mild tangy flavor making it a great addition to any meal. I personally enjoy it in my morning smoothies, added in with any rice dish, or as a healthy garnish to my sandwiches and lettuce wraps.
Buckwheat is a very nutritious microgreen packing a high source of protein, antioxidants, flavonoids, carotenoids, and alpha-tocopherol. Not to mention it contains all eight essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
